The Loft Olive Green Bedroom

Before & After

It’s Not Easy Being Green

How cozy is the Olive room?! This room was a bit challenging because of the size. I initially thought because it was small that white would make it feel bigger, so I painted it white. Then it felt cold and sterile, so I did something totally different. I painted the walls Olive green (Behr Olive Shade) and the ceiling a muted pinky beige, AND I LOVE IT! I was panicking when the first coat of green went up, and then it started to make more sense with the second coat. Then layer in all the bedding, art, binds…and it’s the cozy cocoon I was hoping it would be!

So many vintage finds in one place! The card catalog was a score from Elkhorn Flea Market; the rug was from Cori Elizabeth Vintage; books from Goodwill; Umbrella holder from Goodland Antiques, and art from Dandy and Hannah Winters. We are so excited to use this Loft home as a rental space specifically for photoshoots, meetings, and events in 2023. Adding some of my favorite thrift finds to this space really amps up the personality.

Hi! I am wondering if you can provide a link to your shades? They are just what I am looking for!
