My 6 Favorite Wallpaper Transformations!

Wallpaper = Wow!

Wallpaper used to have such a bad reputation, but has made a huge resurgence in the last few years. If you all have been following for a while, you know how much I LOVE Chasing Paper and their AMAZING removable wallpaper. It adds so much personality and character into the spaces we renovate. With unique patterns and the option to remove and change them up, I’m definitely a big fan of this product!

Here is a roundup of our favorite wallpaper moments over the years, leading up to something BIG coming this month. Keep an eye out!

BATHROOM – This is one of my all time favorite wallpaper/paint combinations! The green trees against the Blue Metal paint, and the wood accent dividing the two. The woodsy theme with the more industrial shower door is such a fun juxtaposition.

NURSERY– Funny story; I actually got this wallpaper for the bathroom in the previous post, but it did not feel quite right. So I went with the Woodsy theme and held on to this one. Then I got pregnant, and thought: Schoolhouse nursery! So happy we went this route, because Little Yolo is so inquisitive and hungry to learn. It fits her personality perfectly!

GUEST BATHROOM – This was the first room I ever wallpapered! And my first intro to Chasing Paper! It’s been a love connection ever since. This print is just so full of life!

GUEST BATHROOM VERSION 2 – Because no room is ever safe from a refresh, a few years later I wanted to add board & batten to this bathroom. Also decided to change the wallpaper to this beautiful floral print. And it’s stayed this way; with no plans to change!

BATHROOM Are you sensing a theme? I LOVE wallpaper in bathrooms! And in case you are wondering, Chasing Paper’s adhesive removable wallpaper has stuck perfectly in all our bathrooms. And they get used A LOT at the rental houses. I custom made this print using flowers from old botany books. Click here to see the post.
We get asked all the time if Chasing Paper can sell this print… and my response, stay tuned! 😉

OFFICE I JUST wallpapered this office nook with this subtle, floral paisley. I won’t say too much now… except this print will be available in Spring! For the full office makeover while you wait, click here.

Maybe Faux is the way to go?

If wallpaper isn’t your thing, try out these other weekend-worthy projects:

The LOFT – One day I was tired of the blank wall in the loft, so grabbed a foam brush and paint, and starting dabbing! This has been one of my most recreated DIY projects to date!

The LOFT Version 2 – Like I said earlier, no wall is safe from a makeover! I turned my workspace into a reading nook for Little Yolo, so gave the wall a new faux treatment using Makeup sponges. Don’t get too attached, I have another makeover planned for this space!

GUEST ROOM – Before this room was the nursery, I created this sweet guest room with Chevron Wall using a Gold Sharpie.

    These are lovely applications. I do love wallpaper and used to “hang it” all over my home. Sadly, my husband is not a fan…
