BARNHOUSE | New Backyard Sitting Area

IT’S SPRING!!! I could not be happier we finally get to be outside after a frigid winter! We set up this new furniture set last weekend, and then it snowed during the week…bummer. But this weekend we finally got some nice weather and enjoyed the new sitting area all weekend and IT WAS GLORIOUS!

We got this 4-Piece Furniture Set from Better Homes & Gardens, and are so happy with it! It came with the sofa, 2 chairs and the coffee table, AMAZING deal for the price!! It fit perfectly under the pergola we put up last Summer. The frames are actually metal, but painted to look like wood, which will definitely extend the life of the furniture (especially in the harsh weather we get here). The other thing I really like: the cushions are light, but still really comfortable. That’s clutch because they are easy to carry into the shed when it starts to rain (or snow…) which happens often here.

I am working on refreshing the front porch for Spring, so grabbed some of the decor like the reversible outdoor rug, lanterns and copper side table and moved them into the backyard. I just have to say, these metal lanterns survived an entire Wisconsin winter on the porch, and still look perfect. I set the timer on the LED Pillar Candles and they turn on every evening as the sun goes down, and it’s so pretty.
