I have to admit, I am not very good at baking, but when Target sent over super fun cookie cutters by Band of Outsiders from the Neiman Marcus collaboration, I enlisted my family for an epic day of making cookies. My sisters are whizzes when it comes to whipping up sugar cookies… I observed, fearful that I would pour salt, where sugar should be added (yes, I made that mistake in the past). While they baked, I was busy setting up a table of goodie to decorate the batches of cookies we made.  Jujubes, Red Hots, licorice and my favorite, Nerds, were scattered across the table and the frosting began. After a few test tries (which were eaten to hide the evidence) we were decorating pros, and how cute is my nephew it the mustache glasses 🙂
