The Loft Renovation Painted Door & Outdoor Furniture

DIY PROJECT

A peek at he newly painted Loft house! You can see the before and after here, and I’ll post more details about the paint and process we used for the exterior once we finish installing the new copper lighting and the fence! I just couldn’t wait to show you the door and the outdoor furniture I got from Better Homes & Gardens.

Painting the Door

The funny thing is, I bought the rug before I picked the door paint color, but totally forgot about it! Painting the doors was a last minute thing and I picked the Hot Cocoa color on a whim. Then I rolled out the rug, and it matched perfectly! Don’t you just love when things work out like that? The warmth of the brown really compliments the color we went with for the house. It’s such a transformation from when we bought the house and really matches our style.

I love the this set of chairs! They work with the vibe of the house, and once we finish the fence I can’t wait to make this backyard a little oasis for guests. Right now our plan with this house is to rent it out for business events and photo shoots so it’s nice to have a private space for someone to take a phone call or just enjoy the fresh air. This little seating and conversation area is the perfect compliment to this unique house.
