Lately I’ve been taking a slight departure from my white nails, and painting them a pale pink, which is pretty girly for me, but I am kind of loving the subtle change. After having a conversation with a friend about how I use WAY too many exclamation points, I thought I would celebrate my overuse by adding a few to my nails!!! For real though, I really struggle with ending a sentence with a period, I feels like I am mad (anyone with me?). Inspired by the Pantone colors of the year, Rose Quartz and Serenity, I drew each “!” in a light blue-ish color creating a lovely pastel color combination. Then had way too much fun punctuating my new Spell ‘n Sip magnetic mug with my nails! Steps after the break…

What to do:
Paint your nails a base color, let dry.
(Practice the next part on piece of paper before trying on your nails)
Use your nail art tool to put two dots of nail polish on the top and bottom of your nail.
Then pull down some of the paint with the tool, and stop right before the bottom dot, to create the thin end of your exclamation point. Add more paint to your tool to shape the top of the “!” Let dry.
Add a clear coat on the top, done!

I was obsessed with exclamation points in high school and would have totally rocked these nails then!
