#ispytravels City Guide | Salt Lake City – 9th & 9th Neighborhood
ETC
I was at the Snap Conference in Salt Lake City last week, and even though a torrential downpour and a rescheduled early flight because of snow (dang weather) cut down on my exploration time, I was able to explore the 9th and 9th neighborhood and find some amazing gems…the orchid store will blow your mind!! I spent a couple hours wandering up and down the street, stopping in every spot on the way, and I had to share a few of my faves.
Coffee: Publik Kitchen – 931 East 900 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84105
First off, start your adventure in the 9th and 9th neighborhood with a cup of coffee from Publik Kitchen. The copper accents and subway tile are dreamy, and the pattern wall is the perfect backdrop for the cozy cafe.
Vintage Shopping: HobNob – 937 E 900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84105
Pop next store for some fantastic vintage finds, I wanted to find a way to pack up all the furniture in my suitcase. So many mid-century modern pieces, and decor gems, get ready to shop!
Sweets: Dolcetti Gelato – 902 E 900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84105
Satisfy your sweet tooth with a few scoops of gelato, bonus points if you add a macaroon on top. I am obsessed with the raw wood table and hair pin legs, I may just have to make my own (brain wheels are turning). Snap a pic outside, in front of the graffiti wall #love
Boutiques:
Apartment 202 – 955 E 900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84105
This curated boutique is so cute, stocked with bright clothing and pretty dresses.
The Stockist – 875 E 900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84105
This super hip store is the perfect place to pick up cute dress and sneakers to run around in on the weekend. Bring your guy too, lots of great buys for him.
Katie Waltman Boutique – 962 East 900 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84105
This tiny hidden gem is packed full of on-trend outfits. Black and white, and patterns everywhere.
Flowers: Orchid Dynasty – 959 E 900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84105
I think this may be my new favorite plant shop ever! My mind was on overload. Airplants. Orchids. Succulents. So many beautiful plants. And those planters, obsessed! I would go broke if I lived in close proximity. You must stop by.
Eats: East Liberty Tap House – 850 East 900 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84105
When you are done shopping and snacking, stop by the Tap House for a local brew and a little hummus.
Enjoy SLC!!

I have never been to Salt Lake City but it looks beautiful.
I loved SLC when I was there in January for the ALT Summit. The conference was so jam packed I didn’t have much exploring time. I’ll have to bookmark these stops for my next trip. And that ice cream photo.. amazing!
