I SPY DIY STUDIO TOUR (and life update)
DIY PROJECT, Home DIY
It’s December all!!! I made it through November, and wanted to check in a let you know a little about why it’s been quiet around here. First, I finished up a huge project, but I’m going to have to keep the details secret still, but the other big change is that we moved out of I SPY DIY Studio this month #sadface. I LOVED the studio, but unfortunately it was not ideal for a lot of shoots we wanted to do. First, it does not have a kitchen, limiting the entertaining/cooking/baking projects. Also, a lot of you may have noticed I am doing more home decor projects, and I wanted a more homey set up. I went back through my posts and looked at some of my favorite/your favorite ones and the most popular were shot at my apartment…soooo I’ve moved out of my apartment, and moved the studio there. Lastly, I want a space that was a little more secure, I work a lot of late hours, and safety is super important, so wanted a place I felt totally comfortable being after hours. I am still unpacking all the new spaces (ugh, moving multiple places at once sucks!) but ultimately am super happy with the change up. It felt so good to declutter and donate all our craft supplies to the local schools. And part of the fun of my job is getting into new spaces and designing them! As a little farewell to the studio, I wanted to put together a tour including some of the projects/sets ups we did there. More photos and steps for each project below:

I absolutely loved the “Keep Quiet and Don’t be A Prick” Sign. HUGE fan of Word Play!
All these spaces look fabulous! It sounds like you have your hands full with a multi-faceted move. I just moved myself and that was just to one place! I can’t imagine having to keep track of multiple spaces at once. You’re definitely a trooper! I’m so glad it’s for such amazing reasons, though. Best of luck and happy unpacking!
You always have the best pictures. Pinning nonstop!

Love the brightness of your space! – Plus I know what you mean about being in a safe place. – I had white walls for a while – we moved so I am adding a bit of color to the walls.

I’m a huge fan of minimalism, white space and pretty plants! Looks wonderful!
