As we are heading into the New Year, I am fully embracing color on the walls in my home and workspace ! The transformation of this sitting area is my favorite so far. I was inspired by the famous pink wall in LA (you know the one), so I started with Dutch Boy Paint’s Bubblegum Pink (101-5DB), and then picked Razzberry (102-7DB) for the lower part of the wall, so it would not be so overwhelmingly PINK.  I love how the light couch and end table pops off the darker hue, while the light pink adds a punch of color! I kept the styling  simple, sticking to black & white, and I think the final result is super chic, without being too TOO girly. What do you all think? Are you ready to add a little color in your life in 2016?

Wow, I’d call that a bold colour combination! Yet it really looks stunning!

You know – those are not colors I would pick but they do look great together! Question – how did you go back in and fill in the space where the painters tape was? Did you tape again both above and below it? The line is just so clean!

I went back and re taped after it was dry and filled it in. If I did it again, I would totally paint the whole wall light pink and then just tape off the bottom and paint with the darker pink. xx j

I just love both of those colors. Pink has been one of my new favs this year. I’ve always been more of a blue girl, but pink has definitely made a come back!
