While in Los Angeles I went to an amazing aMAZing DIY retreat in Palm Springs, where we learned all sorts of skills from the experts. The day started with a champagne toast with the ladies of (No Subject), then crafting/weaving/dying workshops with the mountains in the background, ending with a delish dinner with the fantastic crew from Levi’s.
Do-it-yourself in the desert, how could it get any better!
I am a huge fan of the DIYing duo Honestly WTF, and was excited to try their very first DIY: Shibori.
More pictures of the steps after the break, and jump over to their sitefor details on how to dye.
I like the last DIY, I think I must do it some Saturday or Sunday, because I’ve being searching for a T-shirt like this since a lot of time ago, so this is my opportunity to have it 🙂
That bracelet reminds me of school crafting days and those tie days i love the method. i made tye dye once with just rubber bands in the poconos what kind of dye is that?
i had no idea people had DIY retreats, but that sounds like a great idea and very relaxing!
