[DIY Inspiration] Tribal Necklace

Hope everyone is having a stellar Friday! I’ve been out in LA for the last week having a fantastic time. Last night I hosted a DIY event at the Soho House and sipped martinis and crafted the night away. We made three projects including one inspired by Mara Hoffman’s necklaces from her Spring 2012 collection. I know it is a bit early to think Spring, but I could not help but brighten up being in Cali. Check back next week for the how-to!

I love these! I imagine they’re going to be embroidery thread wrapped cord right? I made a ‘tribal’ necklace with a similar technique…incorporated some brass hardware too. You can see it here, if you’d like:
