I love getting my hands on new gadgets and exploring all the DIY possibilities they come equip with, which is why I was so excited to receive my new Intel tablet. Before I did anything, I had to test out the camera to make sure that it would bring my Instagram game to a whole new level. While taking selfie after selfie, I had the idea of creating a DIY gallery wall using some of my favorite Instagram shots and the tablet’s Intel RealSense technology to make some fun edits to the pictures. Unlike anything I’ve ever used before, RealSense technology allows you to write and doodle in mid air as your creation comes to life on screen. These elements allow you personalize your gallery wall in a way you’ve never seen before. We printed out all our pics framed with unfinished wood frames, adding neon touches to the corners. A couple weeks back, I was got the amazing opportunity to host a DIY workshop for some of the super talented designers of Minted’s newest feature, printed fabric. We got to play with all their new textiles to create one of my favorite past DIY projects, an Envelope Laptop Case. I have to admit, I was pretty blown away by what these women created, the mixing of patterns was incredible. I whipped up one of my own, using this ridiculously cute print. Although I will admit, the options made it tough to pick!! What’s your fave? Step and supplies after the break..
