HAPPY 2013 ALL!!! Pardon for the pause in posts, I decided to cap off an ridiculously amazing 2012 by celebrating and spending as much time possible with my family and friends back home in Wisconsin. Being in the city I grew up in this last week has given me time to reflect on the unbelievable year that I just had. Between publishing my first book, going on a book tour, meeting so many of my amazing readers, hanging out with bloggers I have always admired, speaking at conferences across the country, DIYing in so many new cities, crafting on Martha Stewart, Rachael Ray and Ricki Lake…I have done so many things in this last year that I could have never ever imagined possible. As I drove past my hometown park were I used to tie dye, puffy paint and make friendship bracelets as a kid, I could not help but take a minute to think how unbelievably lucky I am to have made a career out of doing what I love this year. 2012 is one I will always remember and be thankful for, and am forever indebted to you all for making it possible! Here’s to an even bigger and better 2013! xx j
