Sage Home Bedroom Refresh with Painted Trim

DIY PROJECT, Room Makeovers

It was time for a little change in this bedroom at the Sage Home! Inspired by a winery we visited in Sicily, I painted all the trim a pretty blue-green, updated a few things like the bedding, and added some more vintage pieces into the room. Definitely feeling fresher!

I was thinking about getting a new headboard, but this bed has held up the best out of all the beds in our rentals, so decided just to jazz it up a little by draping a vintage quilt over it, to give it the look of a patterned headboard. Love little changes that make a big impact!

Statement Trim

The boldest change in this space is the new painted trim in the little office nook on the opposite side of the room. The color really accents the space and works so nicely with the wallpaper I designed in collaboration with Chasing Paper. I added a DIY plaster lamp on the chalk painted desk, and a vintage bentwood chair.

This beautiful trunk came home with me from Farm Girl Vintage a while back but did not have a place for it, until I started working on this room! I fits perfectly at the end of the bed.
