My New Designs: The Keepsake Collection

I am so happy to bring these new fabric designs to you all! I have collected vintage linens, quilts, and embroidered napkins for years, always finding inspiration in the craftsmanship and beauty of these pieces. This collection is an ode to those vintage textiles, bringing their charm to life in a custom fabric form.

Working with Little Cocalico, a wonderful family-owned company based in the U.S. that uses sustainably sourced fabrics, has made this collection even more special. It feels like a way to honor the handcrafted linens I have collected throughout the years while creating fabrics that you can use to make something entirely your own.

I am incredibly proud of these designs. They are thoughtfully created to coordinate beautifully together. My favorite way to see them printed is on Little Cocalico’s natural linen-cotton fabric. A textile with wonderful weight and texture, great for everything from napkins and pillows to upholstery and curtains. Little Cocalico also offers a variety of fabric options, and you can customize both the scale and yardage of each design to fit your project.

So, let me introduce you to the collection!

Blooming Poppies

Blooming Poppies was inspired by my love of poppy flowers. They are so delicate and fleeting, nearly impossible to keep in a bouquet or preserve by pressing. I wanted to capture their beauty in fabric form. Illustrated by Courtney Rathmann, this print is a sister print to my Cosmos design, in muted earth tones that pair beautifully with the color palette of my rug collection and art prints.

Woven Wildflower

Woven Wildflower combines a classic buffalo plaid with illustrations of some of my daughter’s and my favorite flowers. It is a versatile pattern that can be scaled to work for some many projects. I love using it at a smaller scale for dinner napkins or at a larger scale for curtains.

Cottage Quilt

Cottage Quilt is an ode to classic Irish chain quilts, reimagined in soft, earthy tones. Featuring sage, blush pinks, and light blues, it captures the timeless beauty of traditional quilting while feeling fresh. It is a classic pattern that works across a wide range of projects, from pillows to upholstery and more.

Threaded Petal

Threaded Petal was inspired by a vintage fabric I discovered in one of my favorite places, Door County. I loved the pattern so much that I wanted to create a version I could use again and again. Reimagined in multiple colorways, it features simple florals in a small-scale design that lends itself to a wide variety of sewing and home décor projects.

Storybook Stripe

Storybook Stripe was inspired by the design found on a vintage plate that I translated into fabric form. I love the whimsical combination of delicate florals and classic stripes. The pattern shows off beautiful detail at a larger scale but is equally charming when printed small for projects like dinner napkins.

Stitched Sweet Pea

Stitch Sweet Pea brings me so much joy. Designed to create the illusion of cross-stitch embroidery on fabric, it was inspired by the vintage embroidered napkins I have collected over the years. The playful floral motif celebrates the beauty of handmade textiles.

Pinwheel Posy

Pinwheel Posy is another sweet, quilt-inspired design that brings together playful stripes and florals in a charming way. I love the movement and personality of this pattern. It feels especially cute for a nursery, whether used for curtains, pillows, or bedding.

Cottage Coverlet

Coverlet was inspired by a vintage woven coverlet and features florals framed within geometric rectangles. It is especially beautiful on pillows, and its balance of structure and softness makes it a standout pattern within the collection.
