MY DIY | Triangle Clay Necklace Hooks
DIY PROJECT, Home DIY, Jewelry DIY
My current jewelry situation is layering a lot of delicate necklaces. The problem with this trend is that more often then not, all my necklaces end up in a knot in my jewerly dish…nothing a DIY project can’t fix! I created a few bespeckled triangles with oven-bake clay, add hooks, and tah-dah! I had a solution to my tangled necklaces problem, perfect for my bathroom (which is also decorated in all black & white, surprise…surprise…). With the leftover clay I rolled a little cone shape for my most favorite ring. Steps and supplies after the break!
What You Need:
Ovenbake Clay
Hooks
Nails
Crafting Knife
Pen
Rolling pin
Get all the supplies in a DIY KIT HERE!
What You Do:
Step 1: Roll out the black polymer clay so it 1/4 inch thick
Step 2: Then take tiny pieces of the white clay and sprinkle them on top.
Step 3: Roll the flecks into the clay, creating a speckled pattern.
Step 4: Cut out triangle shapes using the blade.
Step 5: Press in the hook at the base of the triangle.
Step 6: Use your pen to make a hole at the top of the triangle.
Step 7: Bake using the recommended directions on the clay packaging.
Step 8: Hang with a nail on the wall.
