MY DIY | Gold Embossed Mixtape Message Cards
DIY PROJECT, Holiday DIY, Home DIY
Valentine’s day is just around the corner and if you are looking to make a last minute card, embossing is a super fun way to personalize your message! This was my first time embossing, and I don’t know how I have gone this far without trying it out…it’s SO fun and SO simple. You can stamp or draw on any design you think of, then turn it into gold in seconds! I have a million and one ideas, but started out simple with a few of my favorite song lyrics. Can you name that tune??
Bonus: Buy an embossing DIY kit right this way!

What to do:
Plan out your design first with a pen or a pencil. Don’t worry, the embossing powder will mask these guides in the end.
Trace over your design with the embossing pen. (The lips were made by coloring the surface of a lip stamp with the embossing pen then stamping the envelope. )
Sprinkle the powder over the fresh ink.
Clean off the excess powder and hold the embossing gun at a 45 degree angle over your design.
Once the powder begins to texturize, move the embossing gun to another portion of your design to avoid over-embossing.
