Getting the Barnhouse Backyard ready for Summer!

We had a glorious 70 degree sunny day after months of cold! So I took advantage of the bright spot in our backyard and set up our new Sectional from our partner, Better Homes & Gardens. We are rethinking the backyard layout to maximize seating, because we plan on spending A LOT of time back here with friends and family this Summer! Links to all the shopping at the end of the post!

The Sectional Dining Set came with a higher table that we plan on using as a buffet table to set out food, and used the coffee table from another set in this space. I am a big fan of keeping an outdoor caddie stocked at all times, so you can just set it out whenever an impromptu BBQ happens! Sidenote: the Plant Mister was a big hit with my 2-year-old 🙂

I got a Pouf and some pillows to maximize the relaxation (I definitely spent some time lounging on the sectional yesterday). These soft items can be easily stored in the mudroom on rainy days. How cute is that Floral Throw Pillow?!
