I have been traveling like crazy this month for DIY events (full schedule here and follow along on instagram), and with all my 2-3 day trips, I have finally mastered my airplane attire and carry-on content. First, lets start with the outfit: a loose fitting sweatshirt dress is an absolute must, topped off with a jacket for temperature changes, and a pair of stylish slip-on shoes perfect for a quick on and off at the security check point. The goal is to be comfortable on the plane, but still fashionable if you have to head right to an event or meeting. Next up, everything in my bag!

IN MY BAG: 11″ Macbook Air and studded DIY case, Goldfish (to snack on), Gum (to chew on the flight), Watch (to make sure I am on time), pouches (for my jewelry), iPhone with DIY bedazzled case, Frends headphones, UGG Australia Alloway Studded Slipper, Pens and note pad, Tic-tacs, UGG Australia Carry All bag, medicine (for travel woes), lip glosses, reading material, leather hat, hand sanitizer, sunglasses, facial towelettes.

With my new travel system in play, flying around the country is as easy as can be.  And I have to say, I honestly love it! The chance to see new cities (no matter how brief the stay), meet my readers and DIY with new people is the best part of my job…I also love the mini shampoos at the hotels.
