Any project that combines colorblocking, copper and candles is a-ok in my book! This is a great way to create a custom centerpiece for your next dinner. You can match your decor, or the theme of your party, or create a bunch in a neutral color to line your table.  Even better news is that you can get the supplies in a DIY KIT! Woot! Steps and supplies after the break…

What you need:
Wooden Blocks
Paint
E-6000 Glue
Copper tube
Candles
Brushes
Painter’s tape

Get the supplies in a DIY KIT HERE!

What to do:
Wrap the painter’s tape around the corners of  the block.
Paint the exposed corner white. Add colorful accents by painting the opposite corner a bright hue.  Let dry.
Remove painters tape.
Using E6000 glue, stack two blocks and glue them together. Let dry.
Glue copper tube to the top of the block. Let dry.
Add your candlestick. Done!

And of course, make sure to place on a level surface, where the flame is away from other objects when lit!
