DIY PROJECT, Home DIY

Since we have been talking back to school this week, why not end it with a super cute DIY project! Since you never want to show up with the exact same stuff as everyone else *the horror!* today I am showing you how to customize a cotton canvas pencil case or backpack and make it your own. This project is super quick and simple, but the finished product is so adorable. I love how you can pick colors and patterns that really show off your personality and make it unique to you. I chose a pink and green color combo, to create a fun cactus and strawberry print for my project. Plus a few with gold triangle accents! Cotton canvas is the perfect material because it is easy to iron on the decals and it’s durable so it will last throughout the school year. Check out the video below to learn more about making your own, or get to supplies and step-by-step after the break. Have a great weekend!

Hi Jenni! I do not usually comment on posts in blogs or videos on YouTube, but this time I could not resist! I’m Portuguese, but I love reading blogs written in English, and your blog is by far the best DIY blog I have ever read! Your posts are super original, your photos have a fantastic quality and your blog is an inspiration to me! I love cacti, and after seeing this DIY I thought “I have to buy the materials and do it!” All this to tell you that I love your blog! However, I would be very happy if you could visit my blog! It’s a recent blog and still need to be worked out, but I still believe that maybe you take the trouble to visit a blog from a fan: maggie-s-blog.webnode.pt! Xoxo, Maggie
