MY DIY | UGG Australia Bracelets

DIY PROJECT, Jewelry DIY

Earlier this week, I mentioned bit about a DIY event I hosted with UGG Australia. They provided the leather straps, and I had a blast coming up with ways to make them my own. Armed with string, studs and ribbon I made a colorful stack for myself, and taught party-goers how to do the same. For some snaps from the event, head over here!

Supplies:
Leather Straps (get similar ones here)
Ribbon
Studded Trim (not online, but call M&J Trimming to order. Round studs – 57750-brass and Pyramid Nailheads – 57611-brass)
String
Multi-purpose glue

How-to:
Trim bracelet
Cut ribbon to length of the bracelet and glue it onto the leather.
Then cut and glue the studs on top of the ribbon.

Stud bracelet
Cut studs to the length of the bracelet and glue to the leather.
Next cut a piece of string 1 yard long.
Take the middle of the string and wrap around the button, the cross the two sides of the string.
Wrap around the back, then cross in between each stud.
Knot the two pieces at the end.

Wrap bracelet
Use the same technique as on this pair of sandals (video here)
