MY DIY | Triangle Studded Jeans

It’s after Labor Day and I am still wearing white…TAKE THAT fashion rules! I am currently in the anything goes state of mind, wearing my mini skirts with oversized sweaters or head-to-toe white with a light jacket to adjust to the changing temps.  I have been seeing studding popping up on some of the Fall denim, so decided to deck out my jeans in some silver triangles.  Steps and supplies after the break…

What you need:
Flatback studs in 4 sizes
Tape Measure
Paint brush

What to do:
Measure and mark equal distance between where each pyramid will be placed on your jeans
Put glue on the back of each stud with the paint brush, then place on the jeans. Start with the largest gems and work down to the smallest.
Create pyramids down the seam of your jeans, decreasing the amount of gems as you reach the top.
Let dry. Hand wash. Done!

  1. Such a great project, I love it!

  2. Fantastic! They are so cute. I wish I had a pair that didn’t have rips in the front (purposefully) to make some cute things like this.

  3. Tomiko says:

That is such a great idea, I have some extra studs laying around and wasn’t sure what to do with them! I like how the pyramids are not all the same size.
