MY DIY | Color Block Gem Necklace

This silver neck plate was a forever ago purchase sitting in my jewelry drawer without much use, seeming a little plain. After Scotch sent over their new Scotch® Color & Pattern Duct Tape, I decided to give this unworn necklace a makeover and add a little color to my Summer jewelry rotation. Details after the break!

Scotch® Color & Pattern Duct Tape
Crescent Necklace plate
Super Glue

How To:
Start with a crescent necklace (I found mine at Forever 21)
Next, wrap the middle of the necklace with Hot Pink tape.
Then fold the Blue Turquoise tape into a triangle, then stick to the middle. Wrap the ends around the back.
Cut a triangle in the Sunshine Yellow tape and place in the center of the Blue Turquoise tape.
Arrange gems onto the tape, glue down with super glue. Let dry.

This post is a collaboration with Scotch® Color & Pattern Duct Tape, but words and opinions are my own.
