MY DIY | Bleach Dyed Chambray Dress
I am no stranger to DIYing with bleach, some of my earliest posts involved dip-dying denim to get a half white/half blue jean result. This time around I tried a splattered look to amp up an acid washed chambray dress. Beware, a well ventilated area is crucial, and make sure to wear clothes that you will not be bummed about ruining. This is one of those project that you can really customize and add as much or a little bleach to reach your perfect splattered look! Steps and supplies after the break…
What you need:
Lay your dress flat
Dip your brush in the bleach and splatter on the dress, concentrating more towards the bottom.
Let sit for 30 min to let the bleach soak in and change fabric to white.
Flip and dye back. Add more bleach until desired look is achieved.
Let sit for a hour, then hand wash. Done!
