It’s no secret that I’m a bargain shopper, especially when it comes to trends. Before investing, I like to test ’em out, and most always buy a lower price version. So when Target asked me to shop their racks to piece together outfits showing my favorite summer trends, I jumped for joy (literally).

SPORTY NEON: Florescent hues have been on trend for a couple seasons, but this year I’m stepping up my game by adding a sporty twist on it. Flats and aviators are a must in case you’re inspired to break into a spontaneous sprint.

STRIPES: In the past I have strayed away from horizontal stripes, but I love how the peplum defines the waist. Paired with a bright striped tote, you have an outfit that can go from work to play.
