I SPY DIY in Austin

ETC, Events
Hey All! I spent the weekend DIYing in Austin, and had a great time exploring the city (it was my first time there!).  I obviously had to try out all the local cuisine, and probably ate my weight in Tex-Mex and BBQ. Thanks to everyone who suggested must-see places on Instagram, we stopped at a bunch and I thought I would share my highlights from the trip:

Torchy’s Tacos: I had to try out the famous food trucks, and Torchy’s did not disappoint. Also the string lights that lit up the eating area served as the perfect backdrop for food with friends!
Cafe San Jose: The quaintest oasis in Austin, I loved the interior and sitting space out back. I can’t wait to stay here on my next trip.
Uncommon Objects: Sensory overload on South Congress Street, so many amazing vintage trinkets, I could spend all day exploring. Snagged the cute High Five and Heart Throb cards here.
Easy Tiger: The giant pretzel with beer cheese was amazing, and I had one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever tasted there. The Italian Beef is a must.
Gourdough’s: The Flying Pig is a bacon covered doughnut, yep, you read that right.
I can’t wait to go back! Thanks for a great time Austin!
