I have a bit of an obsession with going to thrift stores and buying random vases, containers, bowls…there are always rows and rows of them AND they are so cheap AND you never know when you are going to need a container for gems or glitter or any of the random crafting supplies I own. On my last container spree, I picked up this bowl for $1 with the plan to paint it and add some fruit. Mostly because I wanted an excuse to buy a bunch of fruit, take photos of said fruit, and then eat the fruit…or add to my Friday afterwork cocktail. Mission complete, and a dollar well spent! What you need:
Wood bowl
Acrylic paint
Paintbrush
Painter’s tape

What to do:
Tape off stripes around your bowl.
Paint in the negative space.
Let dry. Pull off tape. Done!
