I was super excited to shoot my friend and AMAZING blogger Justin of Scout Sixteen
. His guy style is always on point, and when I asked him to sport one of his own DIYs, he modeled this edgy yet easy chain T. Get the look by sewing on a few pieces of chain horizontally to your shirt leaving a little slack. I love the unisex look, and must admit, I am making one for myself to layer under a leather jacket!
Day two of #GUYDIY! Alex is sporting a leather wrapped flask, which is the perfect personalized gift. Make stripes with your man-friend’s favorite colors, and give with their choice of spirit for this upcoming Valentine’s Day. All you need is a few peices of leather and glue to make this present in minutes!
Time to kick off #GUYDIY week! First up, one of my favorite videographers, Marat Shaya
(he shot this
DIY video with me last summer). Since retro varsity gear is making a comback, I thought the perfect way to personalize something for yourself or your man is adding an oversized initial to a basic cardi. This makeover takes minutes with an iron-on letter! Also stay tuned for this boy bracelet project (and more) later this week. Buying details after the break.
