MY DIY I Distressed Denim

DIY PROJECT, Fashion DIY

Remember a while back when I made cuffoffs? Well, last weekend Express invited me out to their Denim Lab in the Hamptons to demonstrate how to get the look on a pair of their jeans. With a box cutter, some sandpaper, and a quick wash, you can create your own frayed pair. More distressing pics after the jump or check out my Facebook page for snaps from the party. Thanks for having me Express!

  2. Distressing denim is my favorite thing to do with jeans that have faded or torn slightly!

  3. I did something similar last week on my blog 🙂 I love that kind of jeans.

    I love the result!

  6. I remember doing this in the early 90’s. The best work is done with a razor blade, a wash and dry, then painstaking work with a long needle pulling threads. The stuff these days doesn’t look like a real pair of jeans with real wear. Yes, I’m old.

I love how it looks after! And it also looks so simple to do! xx
